She is the founder of Sweet Roots Media, a women-led media hub producing award-winning documentaries, scripted content, and brand storytelling including An African City, Beneath the Fabric, and The Whites of Our Eyes, which won the Director’s Award at the 2024 Black Star International Film Festival. Maame also runs Duruyeh, a bold jewelry brand celebrating heritage and self-expression, and co-founded Korabea, an archival initiative honoring the stories of Ghanaian women. Her work has been featured in Elle, Marie Claire, BBC, CNN, and more, and she has spoken at institutions such as Stanford, Princeton, and NYU.
Angel Kobby Dom is a visionary business development and marketing professional with nearly a decade of experience in the creative, marketing, production, and communications space. As the Co-Founder and Operations Director of Wyred IN LTD, Kobby has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s reputation as a powerhouse in the
industry, delivering world-class solutions for high-profile clients across multiple sectors. Since co-founding Wyred in 2017 alongside Andrew Kobina Nagetey, Kobby has played a pivotal role in executing projects for direct clients such as 3i Africa Summit, Kempinski Africa, Development Bank Ghana, Afreximbank, Vanguard Assurance, and GIRSAL. His expertise has also extended to collaborations for indirect clients like DSTV, KfW, the African Development Bank, Ecobank, and Fidelity Bank, further expanding Wyred’s footprint across industries.
Prior to stepping into his role as Operations Director in 2021, Kobby honed his skills in diverse capacities, including Creative Lead, Production Manager, Multimedia Content Creator, and Marketing & Communications Strategist. His diverse experience across these roles has given him an unparalleled ability to oversee large-scale creative productions and marketing campaigns with precision and impact.
Beyond his strategic and operational acumen, Kobby is a creative at heart. He is highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, though in recent years, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint have become his tools of choice as he focuses on business strategy and execution. Known for his relentless drive and ability to make clutch decisions, Kobby is the guy you count on to deliver that crucial assist before the buzzer-beater in a Game 7 NBA Finals—a testament to his ability to navigate pressure and deliver excellence when it matters the most.
Jean is Associate Creative Director at Insel Communications – an advertising agency responsible for 27 years of some of Ghana’s most memorable ad campaigns, & the Founder of CMBSTN (pronounced Combustion) – a solo design studio specializing in brand strategy & communication design.
Over the last 6 years, his work has been recognized with several gold & silver awards from some of the highest international design industry honours, such as Graphis Awards, Communication Arts Advertising Awards, Art Directors Club Awards, & 3 Finalist Honors from The Loerie Awards: the highest creative award for Africa & Middle East.
His self-published book of art & design was a commercial success; selling out just 2 months after its release in March 2022. Jean has also sat on awards juries to judge creative work globally, for awards shows including the MAD STARS Global Awards in 2022, 2024 & 2025, & the Applied Arts Student Awards in 2023.
Outside studio & commercial work, Jean has been involved with social initiatives such as the Tolerance Poster Show; a travelling exhibition that invites world renowned graphic artists to create a poster on the theme of tolerance.

Harriet Ann Adjabeng is a Ghanaian fashion writer, children’s author, and researcher specializing in sustainable fashion. She is the founder of Quinsera, an online platform promoting sustainability education within the Ghanaian fashion industry.
With international experience across the UK and US, Harriet uses her expertise to educate and empower students and fashion brands in Ghana, championing women’s leadership in climate action and sustainable fashion.
Ekow Barnes is a renowned fashion writer, producer, and creative strategist with a dynamic portfolio spanning Africa and beyond. Specializing in fashion journalism, content production, and storytelling, he has worked with global brands including Puma, New Balance, Mercedes-Benz, Emirates, Burberry, Spotify, Qatar Airways, Adidas, Vogue, i-D, Ebony, GQ, The Guardian, and more.
Currently, Ekow serves as the Editor at Guzangs, a platform dedicated to spotlighting culture, creativity, and community across the African diaspora. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Will and Barnes Group, a creative production and talent management agency based in Accra, Ghana, championing emerging talent and globally resonant narratives.
A graduate of BlueCrest University College (Mass Communication, Public Relations major), Ekow brings a strong background in branding and media strategy. He has led successful press and buyer relations campaigns, contributing to substantial brand growth within the fashion and creative industries.
Ekow is a regular contributor to Vogue Italia, The Guardian, and GQ South Africa, with over 30 bylines in top publications such as Glamour, WSJ, Essence, CNN, and Ebony, often focusing on sustainable fashion and culturally grounded storytelling.
His influence extends beyond writing: he has spoken at the prestigious Oxford Africa Conference and served on the jury for the L’Oréal x Central Saint Martins Young Talent Awards 2025, recognizing the next generation of creative leaders.
Ekow also has extensive experience in event production and strategic communications, having collaborated with institutions such as the Tony Blair Institute, Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), National Communications Authority (NCA), and the British High Commission in Ghana. He is deeply committed to authentic storytelling and the elevation of African creative voices on the global stage.
Dennis Gawuga is a seasoned communications professional with over 15 years of experience in branding, advertising, public relations, and creative strategy. Renowned for his expertise in building compelling brand identities and delivering innovative campaigns, Dennis is a catalyst for business growth and brand excellence.
In his role as Communications Manager at CFAO Mobility Ghana PLC, Dennis has successfully spearheaded marketing communications strategies that have bolstered the visibility and market presence of globally recognized brands for CFAO such as Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, and Suzuki.
Dennis’s proficiency extends to crisis management, where his meticulous media relations efforts have protected and enhanced the reputations of premium brands.
Dennis’s branding expertise was honed during his tenure as Creative Director at Brand Communications UK-Ghana. With over eight years of experience in brand strategy, brand design, and communications, he led the Ghana team in creating brand narratives and visual identities that have left lasting impressions across diverse industries. He was also instrumental in developing and executing marketing communications for high-profile clients, like Ecobank and its affiliates across 33 African markets.
A passionate advocate for knowledge-sharing, Dennis has facilitated numerous workshops and training sessions to empower businesses and individuals to understand and harness the power of branding.
Notably, he was invited by the Regional Water and Environmental Sanitation Centre Kumasi (RWESCK), and The Regional Transport Research and Education Centre Kumasi (TRECK), both World Bank Africa Centre’s of Excellence (ACE) at KNUST’s Engineering Department, to lead a workshop for young entrepreneurs during the RWESCK Innovation Challenge.

Having worked within the Creative and Cultural Industries for over 20 years, her professional offering centres on deep understanding of cultural nuance and appreciation for the artistic as well as the operational. Ama previously worked as Head of Graphics and Archive at international Architectural Firm Adjaye Associates (UK), Researcher at Tom Fleming creative Consultancy (UK) and as West Africa Arts Programme Manager for British Council (GH). Currently consulting at CCA Lagos (NG) as Programme Manager for Àsìkò Art School, her practice continues to be fuelled by curiosity, creativity and connection.
Lawrence Kayku is a Creative Director, visual storyteller with a background in Communication Design (BA) and an early career as a visual and brand designer. With over a decade of experience in photography, his work spans multiple genres—from commercial and advertising photography (including food, products, and architecture) to weddings and portraits.
Through his brand, Ghog Photography, Lawrence and team have documented over 300 unique love stories across Africa with a signature style rooted in intentional storytelling, refined aesthetics, and emotional clarity. His cross-disciplinary journey reflects a deep understanding of design thinking, visual culture, and the power of imagery to connect and communicate.
James is a tech entrepreneur, founder, and strategic advisor passionate about the intersection of technical product development and design. As co-founder of ADPList, a Singapore-registered company established in 2020, he has helped democratize mentorship globally by building a platform with over 200,000 approved mentors across 150+ countries, facilitating more than 20 million session minutes, and partnering with over 20,000 global organizations.
Currently serving as founding designer and head of design at Mintlify, James is building the developer documentation platform of the future. As a consultant, he has worked extensively with founders across North America, Asia, and Europe, helping them develop products and raise millions of dollars in funding.
I’m Essel — an independent brand designer and logo curator, with an architectural background and over eight years of experience, shaping meaningful, identity-led experiences across industries.
I’ve worked with both emerging startups and global brands such as Oak View Group, Ansys, Terumo BCT, and Deepen AI — often collaborating across time zones in remote-first environments. Grounded in strategy and storytelling, I’ve built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, research-driven design solutions across logo design, brand

Today, I run brand compliance AI reviews for Enverus, Kenvue, and Indeed through my work with Puntt – AI combining design expertise with emerging technology, to ensure scalable brand quality through human-AI collaboration. Beyond design execution, I’m part of the team at Logo Archive, where I research and document design history through
the Ghana sub-brand.
