At this year’s dEX Ghana conference, we’re inviting creatives, studios, researchers, and organizations to exhibit work that reflects on the evolution of design in Africa — from our origins to the emerging possibilities of AI and beyond.
This is more than a display — it’s a space to provoke thought, share process, spotlight innovation, and help shape the narrative of African creativity. If you’ve built, researched, imagined, or documented something that speaks to where design in Africa has been and where it’s going, we want to showcase it.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re curating a selection of exhibits that explore one or more of these areas:
The Past — Archival work, oral histories, traditional crafts, design heritage
The Present — Contemporary African design projects, case studies, social impact work
The Future — Speculative design, AI experiments, research, tools, or prototypes
