Covers one student seat for all three days
National Theatre of Ghana, Accra
A student track running alongside the main programme
Every year thousands of Ghanaian students discover they want to build careers in design. Getting into the rooms where those careers actually start is the hard part.
Conferences, mentors and industry gatherings carry a cost. For young people in public schools, community programmes and lower income households, DDC26 sits out of reach on their own.
The Student Fund is a community backed fund that underwrites Student Passes to DDC26, so that cost is not the reason a student designer misses the event.
Public schools and community programmes where design careers are not yet visible as an option.
University design departments, polytechnics and creative training programmes across the country.
Emerging designers from community schools, informal training and grassroots creative collectives.
A dedicated student track runs alongside the main programme across all three days.
